Do not allow the Th-side of the Micro Module to exceed 80ºC, or 90ºC on other modules.
Dropping or exerting mechanical shock on the unit can cause it to break. Take care in the handling of the product.
If the Peltier Module does not have full surface contact with the heat exchanger, it will be unable to function properly. Ideally, deviation from flatness should be kept under 0.02mm.
Thinly spread thermally conductive grease between the Peltier Module surface and the heat exchanger.
Optimum efficiency is not obtained at maximum voltage or maximum electric current.It is recommended that the voltage and current are set to about 70% of maximum.
For the Cascade and Micro Modules, changing the current polarity rapidly as a method of modulation will shorten the life of the unit. Please avoid this method of use.
Specifications listed for Vmax are measured at Th=27ºC.
